From where I'm sitting typing this blog I can barely see past the snow covered windowsill of my office. Last night London, Ontario was hit with a huge snow storm. Environment Canada has predicted that some of the worst-hit areas would get up to 50 centimetres of snow, but most were expected to get anywhere between 10 to 30 centimetres.
We've been warned to stay off the roads -- unless it was essential -- until the storm was over and roads and highways cleared.
Hmmm..... I'm glad I'm a Virtual Assistant and don't need to "travel" very far to get to my office. No matter what the weather outside is, I am always available to my clients. I'll never be late arriving at my office due to weather conditions or traffic jams. I'll never be late because I had to clear my car of snow or ice build-up. I'll never be late because I had car problems. Now, that's an advantage of being a virtual assistant that I am grateful for!!!
I'm wondering how many employees will be late for work tomorrow or cancel appointments due to the weather.
